A clean-up for your links, and easier collections
Review links
- In My Links, "Review links" finds what you saved twice and what went offline, then deletes them in one go.
- Repeats show up instantly. The same address saved with and without
https, with or without a trailing slash, or carrying a campaign parameter, counts as one. - In each group the one you saved first is kept, and the tags from every copy are listed so you can choose which ones stay — no classification disappears with the copy.
- The offline check runs when you ask for it. Only the certain cases are listed: a domain that no longer exists, or a page the site itself reports as gone. A site that blocked the check or was having a bad moment shows as "could not be checked" and is never offered for deletion.
Organising a collection got easier
- Sections collapse, with their link count beside them, so you can sort one part without scrolling past the rest.
- Adding or editing a link from the editor lets you pick its section right there.
- A link can sit below a section without belonging to it. Links inside a section are indented, and each arrow moves one step at a time.
Tags
The tag field now searches as you type, and the shortcuts show the ones you use most. The create button appears only for a name that doesn't exist yet.
Extension
A new version on the Chrome Web Store, with tag search and the site icon saved alongside the link.
